Welcome to Xon’s Sanctuary, a cozy hole in the wall I made in attempt to escape the Internet Apocolypse.
Since my early days, I harbored a desire to create things inspired by what I see. My soul’s natural impulse is to be a creative person. I was always captivated by art, in television, anime, videogames, music, culture, the sciences, etc. My eyes see the beauty and wonder in all things.
I believe the Internet was once a place for creative people to freely share their works with others across the world. But as life goes, all good things come to an end. I’m sure I don’t need to recite the same song and dance about AI and social media and corporate greed and all that, you’re reading this, so you would most likely know this already. But as a creative, it has now been made so incredibly difficult to reach new people and connect with others through art.
My current remedy for this problem: this website. I don’t know how much this place will reach, but it’s a place where I can put what I want, where I want it, when I want to, without concern for algorithms or any other irrelevant trash I don’t care about. It’s a fresh new way to express what I like while also brushing up my HTML/webdesign skills.

It’s kinda sad thinking that now that a new era of Nintendo has come, a lot of the Nintendo let’s-play youtube channels I used to watch are not going to be here to enjoy it. I used to watch Cobanermani456 and WiiLikeToPlay a lot, and now that they’re all gone it feels somewhat incomplete without them.
