Break New Ground.

yo. I'm Xon. I'm a Y2K-inspired artist based in California.

This is my quiet corner of the internet, away from social media. Here I will show off my my art stuff and web design skills.

My mission: to connect with others using art.

If you like what you see, feel free to support my content via commissions or my other social media pages!

1: xonn73 - The AI Problem

This video is a followup to my launch video following the whole "My First Video" train on YouTube. I've been meaning to start a new channel for a long time and decided i finally take another spin on it. Definitely give it a watch,

2: Zalay - GACHIAKUTA FAN OPENING || ガチアクタ ファンの開口部

This video came from @zalayz08 on Instagram.. Even if i don't have a good record of all the videos i've seen, this is undoubteably one of the coolest videos i've seen all year. its style and flow resonates with everything i like in cartoon/anime style media.

I've had serious thoughts about returning to animation thanks to this video.. and i might just commit to it.

3: MajorLink - The Legend of Zelda Hero's Purpose: Episode 6

This video is made by @MajorLink on YouTube.. I've been starving of anything with as much scale and grandiose as A Hero's Purpose, and this is everything I could have wanted for this series. The video's game-ripped assets and graphics, though a bit dated does not at all hinder the watching experience, or the climactic action that takes place. Link and Ganon's inner turmoil with the concept of predestination really adds to their character. Above all of the action, nostalgia and suspense, I love Link's personification most. Link's in-game 'silent protagonist' persona is broken in this series, giving him his own thoughts, emotions and sentiments. His love for those he met along his journeys is displayed here, and it really makes me wish we got to see this in official games.

There's a lot of buzz on the new Zelda movie in development, but if i'll be honest.. i don't think i need a Zelda movie; i've got it right here.

4: ★Pilot★ - Keep Going, Animator!

The first featured video that isn't from YouTube. I actually found this entire site while randomly skimming thru other people's pages. 1 hour of wasted time i will gratefully never have back. Seeing flipnote animations being made in 2026 makes the 2009 in me smile. For a video that's.. like 30 seconds long it's filled with emotion and personality that a lot of content these days never accomplish after hours. I'm still new to this page but i will definitely keep looking around here.

i should totally buy a 3DS i wanna do this so bad

1: Aquarius and Tayla - Soul Searching

Not exactly a recent find since i've found this sometime last year, but this song truly never gets old. For a song made in 1995 this has aged amazingly.

2: disctr4k - u do it

I've been preoccupied with Faceless Surroundings for the majority of 2025, so I never took the time to listen to Inner Body Movement until around the turn of the year. I still don't know how an artist this young can consistently pump out no-skip tracks like this. I'm not exaggerating when i say there is not a single boring track on this album. I haven't been listening to this album for a very long time at all and it already feels like i have a history with it. Whenever i need to get into the flow of making art, this is my go-to destination. Whenever I'm at work and i'm fighting my sleep i put this on. Disctr4k's got the sauce. Criminally underrated artist. 10/10

3: Medekine - Wash Away

Aside from DnB binge listening i've gained interest in the numetal revival type music. I found Medekine's stuff on Instagram some months ago and i really dig his stuff. He encapsulates the early 2000s 'older brother core' vibe perfectly. He's got an album out but this song in particular I've had on repeat since i first heard it. If you're into the early 2000s numetal vibe, definitely give this guy a listen.

4: Deftones - Entombed

This album is my cure to weaning off of Diamond Eyes. For a while I was persuaded that DE was Deftones at their finest, but after listening thru Koi, I was pleasantly proven wrong. It's odd how little this album is talked about online in comparison to their other works, every time i listen thru this album I'm threatened with the prospect that it MIGHT be better than Diamond Eyes. Of all the tracks in Koi this one stands out to me most. It's just beautiful. If you're familiar with Deftones and haven't listened to Koi yet, it will not disappoint.

5: Linkin Park - High Voltage

Another song from a no-skip masterpeice. I'm a bit of a Linkin park shill. I love all of their stuff. But out of their entire discography I still believe Hybrid Theory stands above the rest. Some may give that to Meteora, which i can understand; but to me Hybrid Theory is perfect. There is not a single bad or filler song on that album.

I might as well put the entire album on here but that's not fair so i'll just put High Voltage here for now. Plus i think this song fits the new site layout perfectly.
